In short, it's like Korean seafood jjim cooked in an American style. When you order, they bring it out wrapped in plastic, and there are no utensils, so everyone around me seemed to be using their hands to break it apart. Both foreigners and locals were sucking their fingers. Anyway, we all started tearing it apart in the same way. The sauce is made with a base of red pepper paste and minced garlic, which was good for Koreans to eat. If you eat a lot, it can be heavy, so they give you a lemon to squeeze and mix with salt to dip the shrimp in. The rice seems to be Vietnamese, with a long and chewy texture. The price is expensive, but the service, atmosphere, and taste are good.
"I enjoyed the original way of eating, as you can use your hands instead of utensils."
The food was great and the staff was very friendly. It was a perfect way to start our 4th of July celebration. I don't believe it was the restaurant's fault, but the security guard gave us a dirty look when we took a photo next to the American flag in the restaurant.
The restaurant is not bad if you order the shrimp. Unfortunately, the crabs don't have much meat in them, so I recommend going with the shrimp instead. You get a decent size meal and more value for your money!
This restaurant may not offer traditional knife and fork dining, but it provides an unforgettable experience. Fans of Cajun cuisine will absolutely adore this place.
