Sandbar Cocina Y Tequila - Santa Ana

Excellent place for breakfast/breakfast. Located at the southern end of State Street, it is the perfect place for a meal. I had steak and eggs. It was perfectly cooked and tasteful. The boy had the eggs Quesadilla, minus the bacon and Jalapeño sour cream. I tasted it and it was just as delicious and cooked to perfection.

The food was delicious. Our server was OK. Not super friendly and attentive. The plate where my tacos were served was old and had some clamped edges. It should have been thrown away a long time ago.

Trouble with recommending for the following reasons: The server we had was very good and efficient; the food was delicious, hot when it was brought to the table. The down side to our visit had nothing to do with the food nor the service. The downside was their bathrooms! They (all three sets) were a mess; their bathrooms were filthy with water all over the floors. Totally unhealthy conditions.

Food was good. Outdoor setting was fun. We both had shrimp quesadillas. Those and the house salsas were flavourful. Service was OK but one person's wine arrived quite awhile before the other's cocktail. Music from the restaurant competed with music from the bar across the street. Music from the bar was better .

Sat down right away however took time to get a waiter and also had to stand up and find the waiter as the food was not right. I would recommend if the service was better. Willing to give another chance. Margarita was bueno
