Golden Teriyaki Sushi - Santa Ana

I ordered a spicy tuna roll bento and a crunchy sushi roll bento. Each came with one tempura shrimp, which was quite delicious, and two tempura vegetables that were just mediocre. Unfortunately, neither of the sushi rolls were enjoyable. The meal included three pieces of sashimi: shrimp, tuna, and salmon. The shrimp and tuna had a stale taste, and the salmon was quite chewy. Additionally, the lettuce in the salad was limp, and the dressing had an odd beef flavor that didn’t work well.

The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a solid 5/5!

The spicy chicken bowl is overly drenched in hot sauce, and the interior is not clean. It needs renovation; it feels outdated and lacks a modern touch.

I ordered the California rolls and Teriyaki chicken. It was an online order and the estimated time to be ready was about 45 min. Seemed a little long but this place is close by and the food looked good. I decided to just get there ahead of time and check out the spot. It has a small dining area. There were a handful of people there but they all appeared to be waiting for takeout. The woman behind the counter was calling out orders and the crowd inside was instantly gone. I asked if my order was ready by chance and it was ready to go on the counter. About 15 min ahead of the expected time. Glad I asked. Overall the food was good the service was great. So if you order online, may want to call and ask how long before waiting.
