Chicken Maison - Santa Ana

I enjoyed the food at the Carson location so much that I decided to visit the Orange County location the same week. The restaurant is located just off Bristol and is not in the South Coast shopping mall, but on the opposite side of Bristol with ample parking. The garlic chicken, also known as Spicy Garlic, was incredibly delicious. The original recipe was good too, but the garlic chicken was a standout. It had just the right amount of spiciness to make it noticeable. I noticed the desserts next to the register but unfortunately, I didn't try any. I guess I'll have to go back and try some desserts next time.

This restaurant has some of the best chicken I have ever tasted, second only to Peruvian chicken. I frequent the Gardena location often, but recently discovered they have another one near my house in Santa Ana. I will definitely be dining at these locations in Orange County more frequently. They offer a generous portion of delicious food at a very affordable price. I highly recommend trying their chicken. Everything else on the menu is also fantastic, but I have a particular love for their chicken. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Chicken Maison used to be a fantastic restaurant that I would have given 5 stars to 5 years ago. However, my favorite dish, the Maison Special chicken salad, has undergone significant changes. The salad, which used to be enough to feed 2 people easily, now only consists of lettuce, chicken, some rice, and a few fried pita bits. It seems like the restaurant has cut out key ingredients to cut costs. While I understand the challenges restaurants face these days, it's disappointing to see my favorite dish disappear. The restaurant has a bright and pleasant ambiance with ample seating, and the service is still excellent. However, the food is evolving and the prices are increasing.

We love this place! We have been visiting the Santa Ana location for over 10 years. On our recent visit, we met Joe, who was very attentive and hospitable. He left such a nice impression on us and is a great example to his fellow employees. Food is always great!!

Chicken was tender, juicy flavorful. Recommend spicy, and regular surface was courteous and attentive. Restaurant was open, bright and airy.
