Taverna Can Quim

Hi,well on arrival met by owner told her we had a reservation and was informed only seats outside after choosing a seat earlier in the day, people promptly moved from said seat,starter lovely bread a meats,then the fun began sausages potatoes arrived positively cold cheese followed completely on the wrong temperature returned food waited new arrived twenty minutes later by then the burner had extinguished itself informed waitress by the time the cheese was ready to put anything in the night was over,asked for more wine as needless to say it was empty ten minutes later or so wine arrived so not impressed,when we eventually decided to end the charade owner arrives was expecting please excuse etc etc no such thing said nothing took full amount for mean and good luck,in leaving restaurant witnessed 15 tables outside they were also taking from two staff front of house sorry again people but never again,With Sincerity, Sean and Julia on vacation from Ireland.

Three waiting staff working when we visited at 9.30pm on a Thursday, a young lady, another lady (possibly an owner) and a young male. The young man was the problem, he asked if we had a reservation, we did not, the restaurant was not full and half the tables outside had not e en been set for the evening! We took a seat and asked for menues. We waited, we waited and we waited. The male continued to serve tables around us as more people arrived I cought his eye a few times but he left us sitting there. The lady we presumed to be an owner came to us and threw her arms in the air when she found we had been left unattended, she went off and we thought that was it sorted. No. We waited some more and were about to get up and leave when she came back and gave us a menu from the table next to us!!! We ordered and food and drinks arrived for a plesent young waitress. Later the young man was passing and we asked for two glasses of wine, he took the order and left. We waited, waited and waited while we finished our average but tasty meal. The ordered the bill from the young waitress and left never to return. I got the impression he did not like non Spanish speaking people.

Beautiful evening. Great cheese and wine and wonderful service with a smile. The bread alone was amazing

Opciones sin Gluten! Hemos cenado una Fondue de queso y lo han acompañado de pan sin gluten! Excelente.

Fuimos a cenar y todo prefecto. Nos gustan los quesos y teníamos hambre. Aparte de los entrantes (5 variedades de quesos y mesa de embutidos), queríamos pedir una fondu y una reclette, y nos avisaron con muy buen criterio de que era demasiado! Si te gustan los quesos, ¡este es tu sitio en SFG!
