La Bodeguita - Sanlúcar de Barrameda

We found this restaurant by accident after rejecting the expensive beachfront ones. The location is not pretty but the facilities are excellent and we found both the service and the food to be superb. The server's suggestions for both wine food were excellent; consequently we drank far too much and had a most enjoyable time. Well worth finding and do not be put off by the view or lack thereof.

We enjoyed an excellent meal with friends and family between Christmas and New Year. I have been here before and previously enjoyed the meat dishes. This time we mainly ate fish. The first courses included grilled zamburiñas (they are small scallops) served on their shell, a fish pate which was delicious, salt cod scrambled eggs and a mixed salad with shellfish. The salt cod scrambled egg was particularly good. The main courses were a variety of grilled, filleted fish served with patatas pobre (cooked with onions in olive oil) and grilled peppers side dish. All the fish was extremely fresh and well cooked albeit a few bones were found. Desserts included home made tiramisu and the usual types of flan. Service was efficient and very courteous. The location of this restaurant on a road which runs parallel and behind the main line of restaurants on the Bajo de Guia is a little out of the way, but it is worth a visit. It is still within walking distance of the Bajo de Guia and town centre.

Fui con unos amigos y comimos pescado que por cierto era super fresco. Nos recomendó varios platos y todos los que elegimos se nos quedaron corto. Increible

Las raciones son un poco escasas. El servicio profesional y el arroz muy rico

Ha sido un agradable descubrimiento. La comida muy buena y el personal muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable.
