Stonewood Grill Tavern - Sanford

We used to visit the Dr. Phillips location years ago, so we chose this spot for our anniversary to relive some nostalgia and indulge in the Chocolate Bread Pudding. Although we had reservations for 7 PM, we had to wait about 15 minutes, which was not a big deal. The dining room felt a bit too bright and could have benefited from softer lighting. Once seated, our server was fantastic, but it seemed like the bar was overwhelmed since our drinks took a while to arrive. The bruschetta was just as delightful as we remembered, and the salad with blue cheese dressing was nice. The ribeye was good, but not exceptional; I think the quality of the steak could have been better. When our drinks finally arrived, they were enjoyable. For dessert, the Chocolate Bread Pudding was excellent, though it was a bit different from what we remembered. Overall, we would definitely return for another special occasion.

Both dishes were exquisite and truly showcased the restaurant's culinary skills. The service was outstanding, making the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was very inviting, though just slightly less than perfect. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!
