Oak Flame Pizza - Sanford

We visited Dharma Southern Kitchen, which is located right next door, but unfortunately, it was closed. So, we decided to come here instead, and we're glad we did! The food was excellent! We ordered the vegan option along with a vegan margarita, and both were incredibly tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere in the dining area was pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. This review is an update from my previous one dated June 9, 2022.

It was enjoyable, but not outstanding; there was no gooey vegan cheese.

I enjoyed this pizza. I am not a fan of most vegan cheese used on pizza (e.g. blaze. the cashew mozz seemed to be homemade and was very good. will be back for more!

They are VERY vegan friendly. Have a separate space to prepare vegan it’s so cross contamination is not an issue. They use Violife cheese and Beyond Sausage and have homemade vegan ricotta cheese from tofu.

I ordered the vegan pizza from the menu, and it was truly the best vegan pizza I've ever had! Packed with flavor and delicious, I can't wait to return for more. This is a must-try when you're in Sanford. The atmosphere of the place is fantastic for hanging out with family and friends.
