Longhorn Steakhouse - Sandy Springs

I regularly order the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, but for some reason, it tasted terrible this time. It was just salty baked chicken, and even the mashed potatoes were bland. While the curbside service was efficient, the flavor of the food was unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed.

Terrible experience. This was the worst service I've ever encountered at any LongHorn Steakhouse. My mom ordered the 9oz Flo's filet, but she couldn't eat it due to its odd texture and taste. We couldn't get it resolved because we couldn't find our server. Additionally, we couldn't even get a refill on our iced teas. This is the worst LongHorn I've been to, which is unfortunate since it's so convenient to our home.

The food was excellent, and there was some training happening during our visit. However, it was disappointing to overhear the managers discussing team members' behaviors openly while we were dining, especially with other staff members present. If there are concerns about team member conduct, such conversations should be held privately or during a managers' meeting.

Server was great. The cheese stuffed mushrooms and the Caesar salad were good. But my god, the salmon was horrible. Not high quality or anything, which is fine considering this is a chain restaurant. But it was soaked in butter, unsalted and didn’t have any bourbon marinade taste as menu describes. Ordered the mashed potatoes which are buttery as is but there is a well in it filled with easily 2 tbsp worth of butter. The asparagus was supposed to have a lemon sauce…but again, no…just butter. I can forgive a lot. But you can’t fix food that is over-salted (which none of the food was) or overly greasy. Could have had fast food healthier than this.

Had lunch here today and the staff was nice and swift with the servings and refills. Super nice and professional. I ordered the Clam Chowder Soup with Shrimp and Lobster as a side with my LongHorn Porter House Steak… Man was it delicious and tender. A-1 or 57 not needed trust me. The loaded baked potato wasn’t weak either. If you’re ever near Roswell Road and I-285 in Sandy Springs and just dying for a meal, you gotta stop here for lunch or dinner.
