Saucy Brew Works Sandusky

Saucy was a pleasant surprise! Their menu has a little bit of everything. The appetizer of crispy brussel sprouts aged ribeye was unique and flavorful. The spatchcock chicken was delicious, as was the pork shank bo ssam. The pizza had a think crisp crust. (Try the Bees Knees) Portions were a good size. We enjoyed the beer flights. Saucy is a nice addition to downtown Sandusky, we'll definitely return.

Pizza was good! Salad was not worth the price at all no flavor or substance. Not very kid friendly but the out door patio was nice.

We will be back. Food great. Service was perfect. All the waitresses were friendly and helpful. Outside seating was perfect on a nice summer night.

We had reservations at 6:30 pm on Sunday July 3rd for 4 adults and one toddler. We checked in upon arrival on time. We asked to be seated outdoors as there were many tables available instead of inside with no problem. We were seated and waited for around 30 minutes with no one coming back to give us menus, take drink orders etc… during this 30 minutes I did ask one young man if we were going to be waited on and he said yes and would get our server. Now many wait staff walked by our table during this time with no glance to us. My husband proceeded to the bar to order drinks and asked if we have an assigned server. The young man behind the bar said that the kitchen is closed. This was 7:15 pm. We told them that we had a reservation at 6:30 pm and still have not been asked for drinks or given menus. We waited another 10 minutes and finally got up and left. We are extremely disappointed as we were so excited to have Saucy come to our beloved downtown. My husband and I ate there a few weeks ago on a Monday afternoon and it was delicious and the service was great! I would love to see your establishment do well and be more attentive. I have heard from other friends of ours who had the same experience a couple of weeks ago and had a reservation as well.

We went to Saucy in Sandusky for the first time last night. Saucy has changed the building slightly from its former restaurant, but it is an improvement. ' I had one of the many Saucy brews and my wife had wine. We also had the chicken wings, which were DELICIOUS. We also had one of the pizzas coming out of the wood-fired oven. It was delicious too. We will be coming back.
