There are less than ten spots overall, so I had to battle for street parking.I went inside placed my order to go. I sat at the counter waited. The batista seemed a bit flustered as she had to serve multiple customers and was the only one working. She told the customer who she served after me that staff is cut down in the winter months. For a late Thursday morning, business was steady. She could have definitely used an extra hand from management. As a result of the barista having no help, my biscuit suffered. The entire sandwich was overdone. It was flavorful, especially the sausage. It just cooked too long because no one could get to it in a timely manner. The coffee was good.Parking: There are very few spots on the property. Street parking is 50/50.
Best coffee in Virginia Beach ? Super friendly staff that knows what they're talking about. I love going there! The plants are amazing.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options. Oat milk and almond cashew milk.
CASHLESS BUSINESS HERE! I met one of my clients here to try something new in the VB area. The atmosphere is boring and lack luster as other reviews state correctly, felt like we were the only ones there in an empty soundless room(box). I ordered and the girls(employees) said that they don't do macchiatos there so I ordered a double espresso at over $4. I broke out a $20 bill only to be shut down immediately with a credit card ONLY policy, so I paid with my credit card and still tipped staff 25%. But really?!?, as long as Biden taxanomics are your policies, we will not be back or recommend this business with no CASH options available.
I bought a vanilla latte with almond milk. I asked for half and half but apparently they don't make coffee with half and half only almond milk. The coffee is not good. The atmosphere is unwelcoming, the staff don't look happy to be there. I asked for the big cup, they said they only sell a latte with the small cup. This is weird and too many rules for a simple coffee.I paid $8 for that tiny cup. Now I'm wondering how much it will be if it was the big size?! This is ridiculous. waste of time and money.Update because I can't respond back to the owner's review. The answer from the owner is exactly the same energy I got when I went there. I didn't upgrade the drink. I asked them to switch to half and half for my vanilla latte. The girl told me they only use almond milk. So not sure why I paid more if they refused my request! Again I paid $8 for for a tiny cup (I believe she said 6 ounce). I wasn't even aware that $8 is not the regular price. Come on its Virginia Beach not Manhattan.
I try to avoid the mainstream big businesses for my caffeine consumption, and Three Ships Coffees was one that showed up on my search for coffee near Oceana when we were back in town for a visit — I really loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the two young ladies working the morning we came in. Very quick turnaround time between ordering and having our coffees. We will definitely stop back in next time we’re back in Va Beach!
