Placed order online, when arrived asked if extra sauces that I had to pay for were in the boxes....instead of opening box and looking she says they are in there. The was no extra sauces I didn't have free hands to check the box so now I'm at home and the only option to get anything done is for me to go back to their store. I'm in the delivery zone they could very easily send a driver. Was told next time they could do something about it or I could come back and they can do something.....terrible service from here
My family just had gotten to our hotel and was recommended by the front desk representative to order Papa Johns. We love Papa Johns where we live so no problem. It’s late my little daughter is starving so I call. The lady could barely understand me and I her. We did however speak about only having a $100 bills since we just got here and hadn’t had a chance to break anything. The lady reassured me that she would let them know and that is fine even if the delivery drivers a only carry 20 dollars in change. I confirmed this 3 times to be sure. The pizza arrives and my daughter thanked him with excitement to finally eat pizza which her favorite anyway. The delivery guy said he didn’t here anything about the 100 dollars and mind you this was a 40 dollar bill. Then I said okay I will meet you at the shop and get the pizza because again my little girl was hungry ot was late and honestly we were starving as well. I’m in the elevator with the delivery guy and explained that I confirmed with the lady that took my order and that’s it’s not his fault or mine and I would pick the pizzas up there. He was ridiculously rude and said he had other orders which I told I understand and that the lady on the phone had a language barrier. But.. I know I confirmed at least 3 times to have enough change for our order. Due to the delivery drivers horrible attitude I did not go to the shop which I would of gladly tipped him and told him that. Being an HR employee advocate and customer service for over a decade it is disgusting how I was treated. I will never go to this Papa Johns and will write a review not only here but Yelp, Reach other to the regional and the shop manager plus any other website I can find. Someone has to be accountable! I would of appreciated a im sorry for the mix up or any kind of genuine customer care with kindness. Very sad that this establishment has so many bad reviews but still can’t improve.
