1st time here; Food did not take long to make and they got the order right. Got myself a nice cold glass of Coca-cola.
I've tried this place four times because I kept thinking it was just maybe a bad day for the kitchen. After the reading other reviews I couldn't imagine that the food was this bad with so many good reviews. But after four times I had to give up. Hands down the worst mexican food in town. I understand that the Tucson palette for Mexican food isn't exactly demanding but I'm not seeing how anyone can swallow this food. The last time I went I switched to their breakfast burrito thinking maybe that's what gets them the good reviews. Negative. It's difficult to screw up an egg burrito but they came close. Meat is dry and even their quesabirria taco had dry meat. Adding sauce to dry meat doesn't make it tender and juicy. All four times I wasnt able to finish any taco or burrito. If you don't care what goes down your throat and craving Mexican food then this is the place. Service is negligible as you order at the counter. Modern decor is fine but would never try a fifth time.
Best menudo rojo in Tucson. The Jalisco style is really good. I could eat it everyday.
The breakfast burritos did not disappoint. The regular size burritos come in a good portion size and the ingredients were well distributed. I can 't really nitpick anything about the burrito. My favorite thing probably has to be that the tortillas taste homemade.
