L'angolo Verde - SAN VITO CHIETINO

We arrived here after our original choice was closed and the taxi driver tried his hardest to get us a meal on a Monday, when lots of restaurants are closed. New place, immaculate building and patio with nice gardens at back. Looks like a residential bungalow from the front but don't let that put you off. The owner gave us a fairly substantial menu but then chose for us, the Italian way! Starters included a truly fantastic bruschetta, mixture of fried starters and bread. Mains included a variety of stone fired pizzas and the Abruzzo speciality arrosticini small mutton kebabs packed full of flavour served with stone fired flat bread excellent! The owner was really nice and tried to help with our non Italian. Reasonable prices for a lot of food, not much of a view compared to other restaurants nearby but definitely a great meal!
