Tried this pizza place because we were craving pizza. Entered restaurant to the familiar aroma of pizza. A unique blend of ingredients to create a delicious, 12 pizza. A thin pizza crust that bakes very quickly in their pizza ovens. Our menu selections was delivered very quickly. Very friendly staff.
We tried mozzarella and pineapple jalapeno half and half. It was a neopolitan wood fried pizza. It was the best I had had in US. It is thin crust and the flavor was beautiful. Loved it. The garlic bread was a overkill for two but was tasty. Give this place a shot just for the neopolitan style pizza. Your perception of pizza would take a new turn, probably in the right direction.
The gluten-free pizza I had today was WAY better than the one I tried last week at the expensive Artisan Pizza in Lafayette! On Fire Pizza offers a great variety of toppings, and their gluten-free crust is thin, crispy, and has that amazing wood-fired flavor—it's absolutely delicious! The Spa pizza that I used to order from that other place, I’ll now be getting here: it features a gluten-free crust and tomato sauce topped with goat cheese (skipping the mozzarella keeps the calories in check), fennel sausage, fresh basil, and sun-dried tomatoes. It's simply WONDERFUL!
This is the only wood fired pizza place in town and it’s delicious, but it’s best if you eat it there. The crust has a bit of a crunch and slight chewiness when it’s right out of the oven and the cheese gooeyness is spot on. The texture changes when you take it to go and it gets boxed. The price is decent for the size and quality of toppings, especially with other places being double the cost. Their salads are pretty good, too. Overall, decent menu and beer variety and staff is nice. Big Plus, local and family owned!
