Bishop Grill - San Ramon

I've been here for over 45 minutes and I'm still waiting for my food. The service is rude, and overall, this place isn't worth it.

I'm not sure why Google doesn't allow for negative ratings. This was one of the worst breakfast experiences I've ever had. I had to search for staff in the restaurant for at least 15-20 minutes, and then I had to go to the front desk just to ask if the restaurant was even open. Is it an automated service? I have no idea! The server was rude and unwelcoming, and all the tables were dirty, piled high with used plates. The food was greasy and soaked in oil, and the tomatoes in the omelette were rotten. The only redeeming quality was a piece of avocado. Additionally, the menu listed online doesn't even exist.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. The eggs were soggy and unappetizing, and the hash browns had an odd, almost fishy smell. The coffee and orange juice were decent, but that’s about the only positive I can mention. I wouldn't have made an issue of this if I had known it was complimentary, but at $25, the price seemed outrageous given the quality of the food. I’d expect better from a Denny's meal that costs just $5. On a positive note, the staff was warm and friendly, and I have no complaints about their service.

Wife and I had a great tasty dinner served by friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more after a long day of travel.

We met with friends at this place for lunch. we heard about this place from quite a few people. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.
