Cafe Del Soul - San Rafael

I’ve been coming here for a while, usually for lunch during work and tend to get the same three things- chipotle sunrise wrap, quinoa quesadilla and hummus yummus wrap. They have vegan chipotle dressing and also offer daiya cheese for the quesadilla, which melts really nicely and makes a kickass quesadilla.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I have been a loyal customer at the Mill Valley location for years and am happy to now have one closer to where I live.

I have tried the Yummus Hummus wrap at least 5 times in the past 14 days, and it is absolutely delicious.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have had mixed feelings about the food. There is one wrap that I enjoy, so I have been supporting this local business by coming in at least every other week during Covid. Unfortunately, I will not be returning after my experience today. This is the third time I have been served a chicken wrap instead of the vegan wrap I ordered. When I asked for it to be remade, I was told I would be charged for it, which I find unreasonable. I have worked in the food service industry before, and if an order is incorrect, it is the fault of the restaurant. We tried to order online but the system was not functioning properly. Our ticket clearly stated that the wrap should be vegan, yet they still put chicken in it and claimed it was our mistake. It is frustrating to receive such poor service and I am disappointed in how this situation was handled.
