Good food and great vegetarian options! I wish they had seats in the open. the restaurant was dark and not very warm/welch. our service was good.
The restaurant has a lovely Japanese decor and a diverse menu. The Japanese curry, a rare find, was delicious. The Volcano Salad was also tasty and generously portioned. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was relaxing, although the presence of a TV deducts a star in my rating. I am excited to return and try other dishes.
It is difficult to find good sushi in Marin, despite the area being known for it. I was disappointed with the sushi spots in Marin that I tried, but then I discovered a great spot in San Rafael. The sushi there was impressive and I will definitely be returning. Some may think the prices are high, but I believe it is worth it. Safeway sushi does not compare in my opinion. Dai is now my go-to spot for delicious sushi. Thank you Dai, I will be back soon.
