I particularly love the fish with yellow curry and fresh vegetables—everything is made with fresh ingredients and is well-prepared and flavorful. It's definitely good value for the money. As a side note, I'm consistently impressed by the quality here. Even though I no longer live in the area, whenever I visit, I know exactly what to expect.
The pho here is delicious and almost traditional. The portion of tendons and tripe is generous. Service is quick, and the interior is clean and inviting.
This is one of two Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is usually served quickly. Typically, the food is delicious, but during my most recent visit, it didn’t quite meet expectations. We ordered simple egg noodles with tofu, which were bland; salt and pepper calamari that were just okay; scallops with eggplant, vegetables, and basil, where the vegetables were tasty, but the scallops were undercooked; and tofu egg rolls, which were fantastic. The service was satisfactory, and I appreciated the manager offering a discount for the undercooked scallops. I can see myself returning to try other dishes and give them another chance.
We ordered the lemon grass beef, but it looked more like a curry with lots of onions. No other vegetables either and wasn?t very spicy a bit of a let down. However, the beef Pho had a tasty broth. Would order the Pho again.
Ordered charbroiled pork with egg roll over rice noodle. The noodle was a bit warm so it sucked up more fish sauce than I'd like. Had to ask for extra. Pork was tasty and egg roll was good.
