Caffe Pizzeria Dante

Lovely little café which has been here for over 20 years. Great value and consistently excellent quality. Yummy fresh sandwiches, pizza slices and excellent burgers and chios.

Had driven by the day before and it looked like a nice place. Stopped in for some pizza and sandwiches for a family picnic. The sandwiches were just OK. The pizza with prosciutto and tartufo was really good. What was disappointing was the service. Dude behind the counter couldn 't crack a smile or make a mere friendly gesture during the entire transaction. Not sure why he didn 't like me. Anyway, I grabbed my food and was eager to get out of there. How do you say, good riddance in Italian?

This place is a nice place to stop and have something to eat on your way to the historic center of San Quirico d'Orcia. There is a public parking place in front. You can view it on Google Street although this video looks a few years old.

We stopped here on the way out of town for a quick bite, and Caffe Dante didn’t disappoint! A simple menu done well with a wonderful staff, this cafe is definitley the place to go for a quick lunch on the go!

An excellent restaurant at the heart of a charming city ! The only place where you can eat fast with great portions.
