Locanda Del Bugiardo

We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere at the restaurant. The staff were attentive. There are many excellent restaurants in the area however we would probably return if we chose to again stay at the winery accommodation which is nearby. While the restaurant was fair value the accommodation was not in my opinion. Possible because we booked via booking.com and not directly with the winery website. In January many of the Agriturisimo’s are closed.

Location and setting was pleasant, food quality was fine, but definitely not impressive. Meat was surprisingly tough to eat, not tender. Wine list was excellent. Service not motivated, no efforts made. Had to aks several times for things and orders, when we arrived,nobody cared. First time, last time, despite the setting.

I spent a lovely dinner at Locanda del Bugiardo. I was with my boyfriend, and atmosphere was incredibly romantic and private. We selected the tasting menu pared with 6 classes of wine. The quality of the wine optimum! The food good, but not adequate to the HIGH price. As for the service, we expected a completely different experience, the explanation is missing (actually one of the waiters was really good, but can't say the same for the others), and some of the dishes (the cheese in particular) weren't adequate to the level. In conclusion, it is a really nice place, superb wine, good food and average service. However, the price is higher in comparison with the quality of the experience. I recommend this place, but I recommend the owner to increase the quality n terms of service and presentation.

We had a very warm welcome to this lovely vine yard restaurant. Delicious starters and then very generous and perfectly cooked steaks. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the dining room is impressive but relaxed at the same time. Well worth a visit and the house wine was delicious.

Restaurant located in a nice place. Wine was good, food was not at all. But the worst was service: we didn’t have any attention or care during dinner. We left disappointed
