Mesa Cafe - San Pedro

This café is fantastic! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they were very accommodating to my dietary preferences. They offer a wide variety of vegan options. We tried the black bean tacos with butternut squash, which may sound like an odd combination but was surprisingly delicious! We also had the vegan French toast, which was out of this world! It is likely the best vegan French toast I have ever had. The bread is incredibly soft and pillowy on the inside with a crispy outer layer. Topped with roasted coconut, sliced banana, and coconut syrup, it was absolutely delicious.

We recently had the chance to try out a breakfast spot, and Mesa definitely exceeded our expectations. We tried the Coconut French toast and the Bean Cats, both of which were made with fresh and delicious ingredients. The staff graciously split both dishes for us to share easily.

The owners were able to accommodate my vegan diet by preparing vegan French toast and a mixed vegan chai. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast as they are willing to work with customers to find suitable options.

This is a fantastic vegetarian friendly caffe. while the menu is small, the offers are varied and the quality and carefulness with ingredients, presentation and culinary pleasure is exceptional. vegetarian meals are clearly marked and the owner is proud of every aspect of the meal and will work with vegans. my only regret is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. the best we had on the caye. Look at it.

Vegan French toast was great, we have it twice! One of the highlights of my trip!
