On the beach, Has good food. Lots of Gringo food to choose from. Will bring you food and drinks to a table on the beach, English spoken. The same people own Roosters.

Stupendo ristorante situato a pochi metri dal mare con una stupenda veranda ed in sottofondo della rilassante musica, propone ottimi piatti messicani, a base di pesce freschissimo e di succulenta carne, personale molto gentile, disponibile e professionale. Da non perdere!

Ubicado a la orilla del mar en la playa de San Patricio Melaque, es una buena opción para comer o cenar con vista a la bahía. El servicio es bueno, el lugar algo rústico pero bien limpiecito. la carta muy limitada en opciones. Pedí un Coctel de Camarón Grande, Me sirvieron solo los camarones en la copa chabela en una especie de caldo tibio y todas las salsas y condimentos aparte. Nunca me habían servido así un coctel y la vdd que demeritó el plato. No me gustó. También pedí unos Pulpos al Ajo que fueron diametralmente opuestos tanto en presentación como en sabor. Estuvieron excelentes!! El lugar se presta para pasar la tarde y admirar el atardecer.

This is my second time to papa Gallos, a restaurant that is located in Melaque, and right on the beach. We got there and the choice of seating was ours, so of course we chose one right next to the stairs to go down to the beach. Sun was about to set, location was perfect, and we were ready for a good feastingFood was deliciously prepared and plated beautifully and the service, although done in the traditional Mexican laid back way, was very good. Our only complaint was the higher prices, much more than I expected in Melaque.

Great location but cranky staff and cold food - tried 3 times this year and each time was some kind of issue. Some meals come out great but then others very poor
