La Cascadita - San Pablo

The food was enjoyable, but our experience was somewhat marred by the waitstaff. The waitress seemed a bit flustered, which frustrated my husband. When we paid, she asked if she was the only server attending to us, and mentioned needing more help but not having anyone to support her. My husband responded, acknowledging that this explained the slow service. He suggested that, when greeting customers, it would be helpful to inform them that their orders might take longer due to being short-staffed. Customers appreciate this transparency and don’t view it as rude. Despite the delay, we understood the situation and appreciated her effort. At the end of our meal, Roger, the manager, came over to assist with clearing our table, which we appreciated. We wanted to share our experience to highlight that sometimes the challenges are beyond the staff's control.

The food was quite tasty, and it's clear that the restaurant puts a lot of effort into both the preparation and presentation of its dishes. However, I had to wait 35 minutes for just two burritos, and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, with many people dining in and a line for takeout. I would have given them a 5-star rating if it hadn't been for the long wait time.

The dinner was delightful. We ordered the Chicken Primavera, Grilled Chicken with a fresh salad, and coffee!

Great place and delicious food!!! Every time I come to USA, I love eating in this fantastic restaurant. I'm coming all the way to Canada to make some desserts for my friends. I strongly recommend it!! Thank you. Cascadita for your nice service and amazing food from a very happy customer!

Nice ambience and super attentive service. The meals were crisp and yummy. Will easily recommend this spot to my friends. Reasonable prices and large portions. Good job.
