El Mangrullo - San Miguel del Monte

On our last day in good air, our hotel recommended eating here. at first sight, the restaurant was all we wanted ... clean look, nice decoration, many customers. The service was not so good, but we thought it was due to a full house they had. They asked for suggestions about the menu and no real information was given, so we decided to go for what we know is always good in Argentina, the meats. the only person who cooked decent was our table that asked for a salad. My dish returned as it came, minus a bite and one or two fries soaked. Another of our friends tried to eat his steak but it was too hard. We didn't have to say that we left without trying desserts or other options. The waiter asked why we had returned the food and told him it was very bad, he only brought the check and told us that we could have asked to change for another option, the problem is that he never showed up while we were there. I don't think I'll give him another chance.

This place was recommended by our hotel. It didn't disappoint. The food was hearty. The portions were large and the service was friendly. Best of all the bill was small. Great value for money.
