Tacos Don Felix En la Casa

Yes, they are a bit out of centro, but we went (on) and back or they can get a taxi. this is homestyle Mexican food in its finest with fantastically prepared tacos and enchilada fillings and the best guacamole they will find.

Have lived in San Miguel de Allende for about a year now. This restaurant is our favorite. The food is outstanding offering a variety of delicious dishes. The service is perfect with the owner seeing to that every diner has a pleasant experience in his restaurant. The environment is colorful and provides a colorful place for fun! The margaritas are the best in San Miguel. Put this establishment at the top of the list during a visit to San Miguel de Allende. If you live in San Miguel de Allende plan to visit many times!!!!

We were referred to this restaurant by a newer room. it can be a bit outside the beaten path and it can have shorter hours than some, but if there ever been a reason to search a restaurant that is it. I will. come to eat in a second, but first we talk about the personal. every person in the restaurant from don felix to victoria (her no, I guess) welcomed us on such a warm and friendly way. rodrigo was exceptional in service and recommended. by far the best we have received, and we had a lot of good service. on eating, as they see, eating is very colorful and plentiful. what the photo does not show is taste and that is where it really excellent. the chef and her personal are brilliant. many thanks for their attention to their art. I recommend reservations, because this will be missing a real disappointment. gracias

What can we say, we love this restaurant. I start with the margaritas they are huge and wonderful. They don't drive if they drink more than one! the mango margaritas are my favorites. The house salad is huge and wonderful with her homemade dressing. everything we had from the menu is wonderful. they will not be disappointed.

The food is absolutely the best and I've lived in San Miguel for almost ten years now. Enchiladas are my favorite Mexican dish, so needless to say, I've wandered around to find the best and found them at Tacos Don Felix. Felix's wife Gloria is...a fantastic cook and everything is always cooked to perfection and consistently so. (Her beans are the best The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting and Don Felix and the family staff are always ready to serve you anytime you want anything. The prices are less than a downtown restaurant and the food just as good or better. Don't let the name fool you because there are many more items then tacos; his grilled meats are as good as any in town, and the servings are large and the frozen margaritas huge. You cannot go wrong eating at Tacos Don Felix and it's the perfect place to take guests for an authentic Mexican dining experience.
