Pacifico - San Miguel de Allende

Un punto muy importante es la calidad con la que te reciben, pero aun mas importante que esa calidad perdure por el resto de tu tiempo al quedarte en ese establecimiento tan bonito y pintoresco

I guess all surprises are unexpected, but this one especially so. We drive by this restaurant every day on the way home from wherever. But for the first time tonight, we went with a group and came away so impressed. Many had the shrimp tacos, kind of baked flour wrap thingy filled with all kinds of good stuff. I had the garlic shrimp, expecting, well, I didn't know what to expect. When the waitress brought the dish to the table, I thought, "wow what is that, and who ordered it". Beautiful presentation like I've not had in a long time, and just as tasty. I'm not a big ceviche guy, but that looked good as well. This is kind of a roadhouse type of place that you'd never expect to have seafood, sushi, and ceviche. Next door you can get ribs and burgers, operated by the same owners and you can order off of either menu in either place. If this was in centro, the rating would be top ten.
