El Pegaso - San Miguel de Allende

This is a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal or just stop for a coffee and one of their wonderful desserts. Caesar salad is outstanding and made freshly in front of you. We stayed in SMA for eight days and stopped here at least...4 times. Pedro is an outstanding host. Understands English and my poor Spanish as well. Just a block from El Centro and El Jardin. We’ll be back on our next visit!

I was in the mood for a light lunch and the chicken soup hit the spot. All ingredients were fresh, well blended and served pipping hot. I have also enjoyed their grilled chicken caesar salad at other times.

Stop the madness. I am a foodie, cook, wine collector and hard to please. Some of San Miguel’s top restaurants are marketing traps and ‘wanna be’ high end destinations. When you are ready to sit down for a genuine Mexican meal, full of flavor at...a fair price, find El Pegaso and enjoy both indoor and roof top authentic dining. No pressure, just pleasure.

We had 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 2 dinners here. great choice, great service and especially eating is delicious. not pretentious and very reasonable.
