La Casa De Doña Lela - San Miguel

Service is OK. Chairs and tables are uncomfortable. The dish presentation is OK, but the taste is not good. It is not too bad, but I don't feel I want to return. It tasted like fast food.

This place looked quite basic from the outside. The inside was incredibly inviting. Food and drink were very good.

I ordered chicken filet with vegetables and mashed potato. Vegetables were cold, mashed potato seems that is not prepare with natural potatoes and chicken was dried. I had a better experience years before.

Normally this restaurant has a wonderful reputation and often recommended. However, our waiter was not at all friendly and showed very little patience for those in our group that did not speak English. Then, at the end of the meal, when we tried to order dessert, they were out of almost everything. There were no apologies and no attempt to redeem the situation, just what looked like a take it or leave it attitude. The restaurant was not at all crowded, and our group was trying to be friendly, but without success.

No. just No. the taste of some of the food is like it had a cigarette put out on it given the choice between this and food from the frozen food Isle in any grocery store I would pick the frozen food. I have eaten in many places and have traveled alot. I can assure anyone reading I will not be returning.
