Sport Reventón/ La Churrasquería

We had a lovely stay at Poza Blanca hotel while visiting family in La Ecovilla. Oliver is such a kind and gracious host, and fluent in English. The rest of the staff were very nice also. We enjoyed the included breakfast, swimming in the Machuca river, and the refreshingly cold air conditioning. I had to teach a class virtually while on our trip, and the wifi was blazing fast. We'll be back.

This place is a lifesaver! We had to leave a previous property due to it being unsafe and unsanitary. We booked our room at Poza Blanca 30 minutes before we showed up in the rain and the gate guard already knew our names. The manager Oliver greeted us with umbrellas and excellent service. A very warm interior, with extremely comfortable beds. The Italian Restaurant downstairs is absolutely delicious and the prices are very reasonable. My partner and I are so incredibly pleased with the service here and we highly recommend. Shoutout to the manager, Oliver, for running such a wonderful space.

Beautiful boutique hotel with very beautiful and comfortable rooms nested in nature about 30 minutes from the beaches and one hour from San José. The lodge has lots of nature around it and it’s an oasis of tranquility. The Cabernet restaurant has delicious authentic Italian food made from scratch with a wonderful selection of wines. Perfect place to unwind and rest in the country.

My wife and I hardly speak Spanish but everyone helped us get settled. The single room over the kitchen was not encouraging but we were able to upgrade to a lovely room with large glass doors ith sliding screens as well, overlooking the property. The best experience was the Day Manager Maria who is very customer service focused and spoke English really well.. Apart from that she went out of her way to help us and even served us our breakfast because of our poor Spanish. She was a total blessing in every way. The grounds are spectacular with jacuzzi and pool and even a playground for kids with swings, trampoline, etc. This is a high end boutique hotel that is relaxing and charming with a loverly restaurant as well.

This small boutique hotel is located near by a very well known Costa Rican pond which somehow is part of its name Poza Blanca White Clay Pound, The facilities is owned and managed by a family who takes great pride on providing top services to its customers. There is a camping area for those who prefer to have a different adventure. The camping area is close by the river which has this rare white clay which is used by visitors to either make figures or just have a natural facial. The owners work diligently towards making this lodge more attractive to visitors. If you want to relax on an area far away from the noise of the city, this is your perfect choice. The weather temperature is simply beautiful almost all year long. I just want to make sure you understand one thing, there is no place in the world that can fulfill the needs or expectations of negative people for they will always find something to complain about. If you have a heart open to adventure and relaxation this is your right spot. The owners are extraordinary hosts who were always checking on us to make sure we got the services we paid for. They went above and beyond to fulfill their promise.
