The prices are about the same as others in the area.I like all the teas with cream in them. Staff is usually friendly and helpful; although occasionally they could make your order incorrectly. There are improvements to make, but I recommended this tea place.Parking: Parking is easier during the week.
Came here to satisfy our boba craving after a wonderful dim sum meal. We ordered the Matcha with Sea Salt Cheese Foam and Thai Tea.The Matcha was pretty sweet. We included boba and lychee jelly. The sea salt cheese foam counterbalanced the sweet syrup from the boba and lychee jelly. The drink was very goodThe Thai Tea was pretty sweet as well. Loved how the sweet milk and tea look in the cup. The wonderful contrast of the orange Thai tea and white sweet milk swirled in the cup was very pleasing.Very nice service and ambiance. Glad to have stopped by here while in San Mateo.
Worst boba, I have ever tasted. It was literally just
Not disability friendly. The front door doesn't open wide enough for a wheelchair to fit through and the staff just watched us struggling without offering any help.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly can't even get through the front door.
First visit to tan-cha. It took over the space that used to be Cha Time pre-pandemic. RIP Cha time I really liked the casual lounge ambiance and board games. Apparently this is a chain from SoCal but I never noticed it when I was down there. They conveniently laid out their more popular drinks so I decided to try the Brulee Thai milk tea. It was very rich and creamy with hint of Thai tea. It already came with Boba included in the price so I appreciate that. Boba was okay could be a tad softer though. It was sad to see Chatime go but it's nice to see another Boba chain took its place. Will come back to try their other items.
