We both had the Asian chicken salad. The pumpkin bread pudding was from this world. Service was friendly, timely and efficient. We recommend Paul Martins.
Update Nov 2022 Paul Martin 's, when it first opened, was phenomenal for the price vs quality of food and service. And yes, just like gravity, it is clear that it was "not sustainable. This place recently visited and the service was drastically less and slower, food was quite good for the price point, but it was clear everything was rushed and mechanical (the same feeling that you get at Cheesecake Factory where Sushi ain't really sushi). The service was so slow that we didn't even want to wait for the child's ice to be free. They also forgot one of our orders and then immediately before check, brought it in a diffy, as I mentioned. I would still say super value for money, but go to less busy times? It is up to 3 stars (from 5). I know this is a larger chain and serves comfort food in equation like Tabu. However, you have to give 5 stars here. First, this place is like a better version of CheeseCakeFactory or TGI Fridays regarding food and atmosphere. It is contemporary, but is not shy to serve a greasy Monte Cristo sandwich that is hearty. The presentation fits the modern look and feel, but then there is the heart in the kitchen and the way they deal with the meal of the children. Due to the dark color and atmosphere, you can feel that this is more for a modern young crowd that likes to go to parties. And it can be very good. Surprisingly, however, families have a great time and I see that families with children come back after time. Finally the price. Very reasonable considering the atmosphere and food quality. Definitely will return.
Beautiful ambience and great food. I love cheeseburgers and the burger there did NOT disappoint. The calamari was great and so were the brussel sprouts. Lovely dining experience. Expect approx 65.00 per person with meal, drink(s), appetizer, (shared dessert).
Pretty standard fare for American classics done decent. They do a fine job keeping people far enough apart, though the dine in area got a little too crowded an hour into the dinner rush. Servers seem to cycle often, so we didn't quite know who was our original waiter. Food was a mix of highs and lows. The sides, dessert and appetizers were great. The entrees not so much. My filet mignon was overcooked and the ribs were underseasoned. Most of the flavor came from the sauce they covered it with. If you're at the Hillsdale shopping center and want to dine-in this is as good an option as any of the others.
Great food attention to customers and great Decor was really a great time and I am really impressed by the service there, we will come back and say friends in San Jose!
