Tacos Alex - San Marcos

Tacos with a smile. Nice assortment of salsas. Happy folks enjoying happy tacos. Best name in the taco business. Can’t go wrong. Good price also. Whoop score was in the green the next morning.

Accessibility: they have one accessible parking spot and the store is on flat ground from there with seating indoor and outdoor. The only issue is that there is very little parking so I saw people without a disabled placard or license plate park there to pick up food. Experience: again, the parking lot is WAY too small and it is right off a main road with fast moving traffic. If you can't find room in the parking lot you would either have to circle the block until someone leaves or you would have to park on a street around the block and walk/travel a good distance to get here. That's a bummer for me. Besides this, the food was pretty good. They have tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, aquas frescas and Mexican sodas. We got four tacos, one torta and one horchata for 21 dollars.

No specials. Basic menu. Easy to find on street. Very limited parking. They use whole beans versus refried beans. I've tried the tacos. I'll try the burritos next time. Salsa is really good. Dine in area is small. We usually take it to go.

I LOVE Alex Tacos! The tacos were AMAZING, if you are going, get buche and carnitas for sure. Overall the food was great and I will be back soon!

Small taco shack with some amazing food. They put white beans in their tacos, which I guess saves me from scooping them up separately . Their red salsa is bomb, and they have cucumbers in salsa that resembles kimchi. Also, very little parking. 7 narrow spots including a handicapped stall.
