Slater's 50/50 - San Marcos

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The burgers are fantastic. I tried the 50/50 burger, which is a delicious blend of 50% bacon and 50% beef—absolutely bursting with flavor! The original Slater's 50/50 burger topped with an egg was incredible; every bite was just as delicious as the first. Their fries were fresh and crispy, too. I also sampled one of their special menu items, and I really wish it was available elsewhere because it was that good! To top off the meal, we ordered the birthday shake, which was the icing on the cake! The vanilla shake came with a whole Twinkie and a full red velvet cupcake on top—two desserts in one! It was truly amazing!

Wow, what a unique burger experience! They even have bacon salt! But it gets better—the Slater 50/50 burger is made up of 50% beef and 50% bacon. Incredible, right? If you're not in the mood for meat or just don’t enjoy it, they’ve got you covered with the Impossible burger, which is completely plant-based, and my wife absolutely loved it! You can also customize your own burger with various toppings. Their fries have plenty of options too, along with a wide selection of drinks. I tried a non-alcoholic beer, and it was delicious! The waiter was friendly and had a great sense of humor, and the atmosphere was really cool. Be sure to check them out on Yelp for a $2 discount on their second beer!

Eating good, it's nice to make your own burger. the child menu reflects the adult menu but smaller. the wings are when they order the traditional. the pizza could use more sauce as it felt almost to aircraft. her homemade sauce makes it worth the trip. I'd try again and again. the personal is a little impatient.

Staff was amazing!!! I loved our server!! I hate that now I cannot remember his name, but he is tall and has glasses and was working on the 19th PM and I think he should be recognized. Everything was so good including the milkshake! But the amount of milkshake is smaller than normal places which was sad.
