Johnny Rockets - San Marcos

We feed here on July 4 with my husband and two other friends. I got 30 minutes after eating Route 66 Burger. Had bad stomach pain. The onion ring tastes burning and terrible. Our server is not very efficient at all. Our orders are very straight and simple. Three Route 66 Burger,1 original, 1 onion rings and 1 French Pommes. But it took so long to get our order, and if it came, we need to ask our server to bring our drinks if it had at least brought the drinks earlier while we waited for the burgers. Then we started eating and she even didn't bring us napkins. We will not recommend this place and do not eat here again.

Best food option in the mall. Service is good and food is also OK.

The food was really amazing and my sister just fell in love with the chili my Philly cheese steak was very delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Guillermo for waiting for us!!!!!!!!!

From the east coast we are very familiar with Johnny Rockets and absolutely love it! We moved to Round Rock, Texas two months ago and drove over 1 1/2 hours to San Marcos to eat here. The food was so good! We ordered a simple hamburger and pommes, chicken tits and pommes, a chocolate milkshake, a vanilla milkshake, Dr. Pepper and a sweet tea I immediately traded for water. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of our blessing. He didn't really seem to want to wait for us. Several times we would need refills and another guy who was actually the host would check us out and bring us refills. The restaurant is very small, so there is no reason why our waiter could not help us. He also accused me of a sweet tea, even after he asked us for a water for me. It was really not a sweet tea, it was kind of rough haha. But our waiter is the reason for the 4 stars. He never came back with our bill. We had to go up there and he never told us how much our bill was just said to insert our card. We will definitely come back, but we will definitely make sure we ask for someone else!

Would give it a 0 if a could, I was refused service for wanting to dine in their outside tables, they told me they would not provide service outside? why have outdoor tables if you do not provide service? I told them them that I could wait inside for my order and take it out myself, the waitress got angry told me that they did not provide service outside and offered me the to go menu which only included drinks and some chicker tenders? again I explained that I would order in from the normal menu and take it out myself , they even have take away containers, which people were using to take their leftovers, the waitress did not agree and never took my order, so I left. Even if people have decided that there is no pandemic , when there is, if you have outdoor seating you could easily accomodate service. Horrible costumer service, so close minded waitress.
