Hooked On Sushi - San Marcos

I used to be a regular at a restaurant in Encinitas for years because I lived close by and loved the food and atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the setup of this new restaurant. It felt cold and unwelcoming, and even the server could sense my dissatisfaction. She mentioned that they were going to make changes based on feedback from others who felt the same way. I miss my favorite spot in Encinitas and have now been going to Sushi Hulu for decent sushi at a good price with a great atmosphere. I also recommend Unami Sushi in San Marcos for top-quality sushi, although it is a bit pricier. It's a shame to see such potential go to waste.

Our favorite sushi restaurants in North County are definitely the ones in San Marcos. While the atmosphere and layout might be different compared to those in Encinitas and Carlsbad, the quality of the sushi and service remains consistently excellent. The only thing that would make us visit more often is if they were open on Sundays.

I recently tried the TNT Super Mario sushi rolls and they were absolutely delicious. The rolls were topped with crispy fried onions. The woman at the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending these tasty rolls.
