Everything about my breakfast was great but what really took it over the top was their beans. Yes, that staple of Mexican cuisine that is all too often overlooked or underwhelming. However these stole the show. Flawless texture that indicates that they are hand mashed then topped with this dry salty cheese much like parmesan They also make their own salsa; the verde was mild but super flavorful and the rojo had an afterburn that was warm but not overwhelming. I had eggs over easy on crispy tortillas with ham plantains and a spicy red sauce. Perfect balance of flavors. I asked for milk with my coffee and it came warm with a bit of steamed foam. Delish! Unfortunately it was so good I forgot take a photo (bad Yelper! so I guess I'll just have to go back.
This is such a great breakfast cafe with Free Wifi! We came here several times while visiting San Pancho for the week and each time it was a delight. They have a very friendly waitstaff with quick service. Some items that we ordered and really liked were the Huevos rancheros, Pancakes/waffles, green juice, and coffee. I found the coffee at El Tazo de Café to be my favorite in all of San Pancho! I definitely recommend coming here :
Another great find. Needs a break from tacos, especially the kids. We ordered a ton of food more than we needed but now we can attest to how good it all was. The french toast was amazing. Kids loved the waffles. The fruit bowl was huge and perfect. Smoothies were great as well. Egg scramble was fantastic. Service great too. And the prices were even better! I think the french toast with fruit was about $3USD! YUM
