So pleasantly surprised by this teeny, strip-mall pizza joint. The pizza was delicious, with a really nice sauce and thin, crisp (but not crispy) crust. And the service was exceptional. The guy who took our order voluntarily gave us a discount because he could see from her sweatshirt that my daughter went to a local school. Then the owner looked at the NYC card and went out the way to give us a little geography lesson (you can learn from his accent he is from there). So friendly, so delicious. You deserved my business.
This is my favorite place to get a slice. I love it crisp and thin and they have some great lunches. It smells good there and the ovens are super clean. I'm sorry they had to take the Parmesan cheese out of the tables. I hate these little packages. The discs seem to have shrunk too recently. But overall a slice and a drink is a good offer and the pizza tastes great.
The new owners have worked a miracle with this place. It had really gone downhill over the years, but its new recipes and authentic East Coast tires are a massive improvement. Give Pizza La Nova another chance, even if they were sucked two weeks ago. The new owners have been here for a week and it is infinitely better.
A little place but so worth finding. The pizza is a perfect NY slice. Pricing is excellent and the crew is helpful and will give samples if you are unsure what to order. Highly recommended!
