Gardens Of Avila - San Luis Obispo

This restaurant is next level good! And my wife and I have traveled all over and enjoyed lots of food in the big cities. The freshness, the creativity everything top-notch! Only drawback to this place is that the front seating area need some warming up! They often have a TV going and it's a bit drafty. The back seating area is lovely!

We enjoyed a lovely meal with our party of 4. Two of us had the pork chops wow! Incredibly delicious. And one had a pear and Gorgonzola salad with flatbread. The other had a braised short rib so tender and flavorful! Thanks, Avila for another great meal.

The food was very good although a little on the pricey side. We decided to share a couple of starters and one entree. The starters (brussel sprouts and pear and arugula salad) were very good but the highlight was the scallops delicious. Our server, Zoey, was excellent.

From start to finish our dinning experience was nice. My husband ribeye was cooked as requested and was full of flavor. I had the halibut it was tasty all the flavors complimented each other. Our desserts were delicious we enjoyed the crème brûlée and the Chocolate cheesecake. Explore the Mocktail list they are fun and yummy.

A very nice place to eat. Very Very Very expensive. Food portions are fairly small. Quality of the food is alright. Ambiance is nice and relaxing. But again, very very expensive, and definitely not worth the value of the food in return. Service is great! But I do recommend it if you have plenty of money to spend on a nice dinner out with your significant other.
