Biddle Ranch Vineyard - San Luis Obispo

Since becoming members a year and a half ago, we have been there quite a few times. And most of those times we have taken friends with us and those friends usually end up buying a bottle or 2 because it's good wine. The wine is really good but pricey when compared to others in the area. We ended our membership after a couple of bad experiences. This passed weekend we were told that we only had a few minutes left because another party was coming in and they needed the table. We had a party of 5. There were still a lot of tables available around and along 3 other big tables by the entrance. Even after our friends bought a bottle. As we exited there was 1 party of 3 coming in. That's it. The parking lot was empty. The next day, my wife and I went there right before they opened because we wanted to take a few photos in the vineyard. I walked in and told them we were members and wanted to take a couple of pics there. I was told that there is a $50 fee or I could purchase a bottle of wine. Even though our friends bought a bottle yesterday and we were going to be paying for our shipment the next day (3 bottles). I guess this is what you get when you belong to a corporate winery instead of a family owned one. The corporate greed is in full affect at Biddle! Never again. Service is slow, even when there is hardly anyone there, only 15% off instead of the usual 20% and their parties are also expensive and not that great. Better customer service, discounts, parties, and overall experiences at the surrounding wineries. Definitely recommend Saucelito Canyon or Wolff instead of this greedy place.

We brought our own charcuterie board so we didn’t eat any of their food which is really nice that you can do that. It’s very relaxing and the wine is good. The service was quick and our server was personable. Great afternoon!

Excellent experience at Biddle Ranch! The wine tasting was wonderful along with the amazing service. The vineyard is beautiful and peaceful ambiance. We enjoyed a snack box containing various cheeses, crackers, meats spreads. Would highly recommend and was delicious. We bought several bottles and the check out process was easy fast so we could make our next wine tasting. Will be back again soon!

We brought picnic food did not order from the menu. The tasting room grounds are relaxing beautiful the wines were yummy.
