Horatio's - San Leandro

We had a great server Lina whom was very good from the start. There were of us and she was very friendly and always smiles. The Calamari Appetizer we ordered to share was delicious, so was the Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque. We each ordered our own entree and I had the Atlantic Lobster Tails which was my favorite Seafood, but it was undercooked and kind on the rare side. But I ate them anyway because I don’t mind it, I did tell our server Lina about it so she’s aware and she could tell the cook about it The main problem was with my friend’s order of her Halibut, it was way overcooked and very dry. Our server apologized and ordered another one for her. The second one came and it was raw on the inside, and she had to bring it back for the cook to reheat it further. I personally think they must have a trainee cooking our dinner or something, being my Lobster undercooked, and my friends Halibut overcooked. The rest of my friends entrees were okay Overall, the food is not as good as they were before the Pandemic. We used to go there a lot and never got disappointed like this. I hope the Management will see this and perhaps will make things better like before. We ordered the Key Lime Pie and it was delicious as always. I am sure we’ll go back again and give them another try, hopefully they will improve by then

Although we had a reservation, we were seated in the bar not dining room! After hors d’oeuvre arrived, we asked to be moved into dining area. No problem! Our dinner was good, service was excellent the view was ok (as we had to close blind as the sun was too bright Perhaps a later seating would show off the pretty marina! We celebrated a birthday with a way share of Cream Brulé which was delicious! We will return

Sooooooo good! Can't wait to go back again. The lavender cosmo was incredible, a magical elixir, and the rigatoni was one of the best plates of pasta I've ever had. Cannot wait to go back here
