There were some more adventurous items on the menu but I’m a wimp when it comes to spice and my buddy’s meal was indeed spicy. But everything about this experience did not disappoint.
The 5th Wheel in San Leandro is a true go-to diner! It's all about fast, fresh food that keeps the community coming back. Our order was quick, fresh, and you can tell they're popular by the bustling scene. Loads of to-go orders, too. Here's what I got:Two eggs scrambled with cheeseWheat toastSuper delicious hash brownsCountry fried steakAll cooked to perfection. If you're after quality eats in a friendly atmosphere, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Surprisingly good and well priced. hard to find parking around, but worth it. good staple for san leandro breakfast.
I love this spot so much and was so upset to have just learned about it not too long ago. I love the simple breakfast sausage plate with grits and they have amazing rye bread! I think they changed it recently but it’s still good. I liked the brown one they used to get.My other go to is the linguica with brown rice over medium eggs and rye toast! The yolk is always perfectly runny for the rice.My husband loves the chicken fried steak and that is his go to! He selected cottage cheese because PROTEIN.
Pretty small interior but great breakfast especially the grits and bacon o believe they are only open for morning an late breakfast I think they close by 1pm or 2pm maybe even earlier
