Bara's Grocery & Deli - San Leandro

This hidden gem is obviously ran by a crew with old school values and morals towards business, and for myself as a customer, consistency is definitely a must. They offer a variety of delicious, affordable sandwiches that put a Subway sandwich purchase to shame. I will travel up to 50 miles for good food and customer service and this place makes my list!

I have been going to Bara's for years. It is by far the best sandwich deli around. Generous portions, made fresh as you order, with a good selection of sides and they now have seating for those who want sit down lunch/dinner. The owner is always friendly even though they may be busy. You can call your order in and pick it up for faster service.

Super yummy! Generous amount of meat, fresh lettuce... they have a variety of meats, cheeses. Really nice down to earth vibe in there too! Workers were smiley friendly.

Best Family owned Deli in SanLeandro and surrounding areas. It is by far the highest quality of meat, sandwiches, and people working in the area. Great family owned environment with great hot and cold sandwiches! The meatball, hot chicken, and Bay Area Sandwiches are topping the charts! A guaranteed full stomach at this joint!
