Johnny B. Good - San Juan

This newly opened restaurant resembles a hip American diner, with lots of neon lights, signs and posters on the walls. It's definitely one of the coolest restaurants in San Juan with nice tables inside as well as outside on the terrace and extremely friendly staff. We just went for drinks with friends in the evening, but this restaurant really offers a lot and is ideal for everyone; families with children looking for a place to have lunch/dinner or people looking for a nice night out. The food looked delicious and the prices aren't bad either. A bit more expensive than other restaurants in the city but 100% worth it. The drinks were definitely good!

I went with friends and liked the place. Indoor and outdoor seating, good music, two menues with fotos, one for food with all sorts of options, from breakfast to lunch dishes, coffee and bar food. The second menu is for the drinks. They all look good and the ones I tried were excellent. There are quite a few 2x1 offers before 21:00. Seems to be open all day.But - service was quite bad: it took quite some time to drwa the waiters atention. Themdrinks took ages to come, didn't come together. Betweenthe frist part and the second we had to wait 20 min. food service also slow. Almost impossible to order a second drink. When we commented with the waiter he had lots of excuses but not much effort to do better and make up for it.Even so - I think I'll go again and try some more drinks!

This is a Hard Rock Cafe style bar/restaurant outside the city centre with a wide-ranging menu of mainly North American style food. We went for lunch, but the whole experience was ruined by the poor service. We waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks which only came after complaining first to the server then to the supervisor. The food took about 35 minutes to get our starter which came tepid and the mains a further 45 minutes. The food itself was mainly ok but a lot of it was tepid. A stuffed potato side was cold and really unpleasant. The server was very defensive when we complained and tried to make excuses rather than apologising and sorting it out. The people on the next table stood up and left after waiting for about an hour and a half without getting any food at all. The table behind us also waited ages and complained to the supervisor. Clearly they are understaffed and the staff lack basic training. I would not return or recommend it.

The lunch menu package, I think it is called executive lunch, is a great value for money. The spread served with the bread was spectacular.

After we were brought to a table where we were insured that the heaters were working, they were not, we asked that we move to a table inward, as an unhappy looking waitress, which obviously did not say like the look of us no, although it was completely empty. At this point I would normally have gone out, but my friend really wanted to eat here. Beverages took 20 minutes to arrive and the food took longer. I had ordered chicken quesadillas as easy as they sound, chicken, cheese and tortilla, but they came without cheese and hardly warm. After informing them, it took ten minutes for a pot of dreadful cream cheese to come, at which point my food was completely cold. Again, cheese and warm food were required, which placed in a pot of still inconspicuous 'nacho cheese' before me, after another ten minutes waiting. At this point I lost my patience and asked to speak with a manager, which did not happen, and after I had fresh HOT food with the right ingredients, my meal was finally taken away, had filled some cheese into it, and again heated under the grill; so the palate of guacamole burns on the tortilla and makes it even more useless. I gave up at this point and ate only the contents of the bread basket. Terrible service from start to finish, and a cook that fights with three ingredients meals from a Hard Rock Cafe demolition. Better stay home.
