Don Mamino - San Juan De Miraflores

Must have the Lucuma and Brownie ice cream! It is a must several times every time I visit Lima! There are empanadas, croissants, bakery, desserts, sandwiches are all great!

Yesterday we decided to come to the desert on our way home. Traffic was really hard and we decided to stop at Don Mamino. There were 5 in our party and everyone chose something else. Since it was a cool night, my wife ordered a hot vanilla shake and was pleasantly surprised! Our niece had an orchard and her husband ordered a Banana Split, it was Hugh! I had American Coffee and a scoop from Coconut Ice Cream. The ice creams from Don Mamino are very creamy and tasty.

Don Mamino is a very popular place throughout Lima. In all their restaurants the same quality sandwiches are great, salads very tasty and pastries is just delicious along with good coffee choices. Don Mamino is a place for the Ionche in the afternoon, a late lunch or an early dinner. Waiters are experienced, attentive and helpful.

They serve a range of salads, sandwiches, juices and desserts. I had a salad, it was fine but nothing special. A lot of lettuce leaves padding it out to make it seem like a large service. Service was very quick. Nice outdoor seating area.

Well, this place must have had some of the best quiche I've ever had in my life to not mention the maize cake. The service is very warm, friendly and very efficient. I am back from Lima and will definitely return in my next trip.
