Kaffe Haus Old San Juan

Went for breakfast one day, sat at the bar. i ordered an iced chai latte which was watered down as soon as I got it, and a salmon bagel which was not good at all, I couldn’t even finish it, the salmon meat was brown on the edges, and it had barely any cream cheese, no capers, but the place was nice, but wish the food had been better. UPDATE: my last review might’ve just been a bad day, but this time around was spectacular!!!! the chicken and waffles was so good and so huge, it could feed 2 if needed

Best brunch I've ever had that comes from someone who travels frequently! The portion sizes are good for a brunch pack a ton of flavor. The owner (if I remember correctly Jose is a great guy who also works the floor when it's busy from what my wife I saw. Our favorite items .. The Mallorca sandwich (that comes with chicken *picture added* the kiwi French toast (which was limited I believe . The boriqua breakfast was great! The coffee was amazing I must add as well. This is a MUST VISIT if you need a good brunch spot in the Old San Juan area! I think he has another location as well from what he mentioned to my wife I.

I had a light lunch here and it was delicious! I did, however, have to wait a few minutes to be served. I saw people who got there after me get served and their parties were larger. I was just 1 person and ordered 1 simple appetizer and a drink. It was busy, but still. I had the croquetas de bacalao with the matcha latte. I wish I would've been hungrier when I visited. This was over a 45-minute drive from where I was staying, so I didn't frequent it more than once.

This place is amazing. We ordered classic waffles for our 5 year old, breakfast burrito for the dad, grapefruit mimosa and latte for myself. Everything was amazing. The 5 yo finished an entire plate of waffles. I'm usually not a big fan of waffles, but the waffles tasted good!

The food was very good. Eggs cooked perfectly over easy and the potatoes were crispy. The bacon was a little thin and definitely not maple bacon but it was nice and crispy. The service was great and the cappuccino was excellent. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.
