This place captured my heart!! The quaintness and love for what they do shines through with everything they do. From the welcome greeting to the wine pairing to the extra special treatment of their customers is the most wonderful way to do business!!! The food and atmosphere is fabulous !!! “A Wonderful Celebration” On August 14 was my lovely wife 's birthday and I invited her to a date in this beautiful place in the middle of Old San Juan, just a few step from where I work. The place is gorgeous and the ambiance has a remarkable resemblance to one of those in Italy. Actually we felt like we were in his home in Venezia .. Ricardo the owner is a great host but not only with us but with every person that was in the restaurant that night. Also the waiters were marvelous. The 'Un 'ombra ' were just amazing and the food was made for Queen and King that night. We have a 'Spinach Gorgonzola Cheese Salad ', 'Lamb Ribs With Noqui ' 'Ravioli Filled With Lobster ', all of them were delicious and we were really satisfied with the generous portions. We highly recommend this outstanding restaurant for every occasion you want to be impressing your own Queen. Two thumbs up for 'Il Bacaro Di Venezia Old San Juan ' Visited August 2014
