Mar De Fondo - San José del Cabo

Eating is simply amazing, especially the exfoliation and eating shrimp. the sauces are unique with the right amount of flavor. mar de fondo has no ideal location. there is parking space in front for about 6 cars, but it is on a busy car track and it is loud. all restaurant seats are outside, but we hope that at some point the building will be in the rear position to be renovated and serve more customers. we will still come back at each visit to san jose and eat here again and again, as eating is excellent. the food was the favorite at mar de fondo in the face of all the restaurants we have sought for during a five-day visit. we wish this restaurant great success.

Mar de Fondo’s food was far beyond our expectations. the ingredients were very fresh, generous portions and most reasonable price I ever was in los cabo. overall it was an excellent experience for us.

Friendly service. fresh seafood. we love this restaurant. my niece told us about mar de fondo a few months ago when she visited san jose. we were excited to try. many times when the expectations are high, disappointment is more likely...not for mar de fondo. we love everything. Six of us had dinner. the owner, arturo, recommended her fish of the day and garnel the day. we also ordered the garnels of the gouverneur and grilled cauliflower. delicious and wonderful. we went back three times in 10 days. the average cost per person is $10 per night. amazingly reasonable. would be highly recommended.
