Just One More - San José del Cabo

We are currently sitting at a dinner table on the first floor disappointed of what SHOULD have been a memorable night. We waited too long to be seated on the terrace where the reggae band was playing so we gave up and decided to stay on the first floor where two tables seemed to be waited normally. Thaiza(waitress, forgive me if I butchered your name) was excellent and willing to take our orders for us. She got busy (we understand it is ftiday night and a payday, NBD) so other waiters helped brought us our food. One of the things that pissed me off was the fact that I asked one of the waiters politely if he could help me with a refill but chose to ignore me after he looked straight at me when I called for his help. The other thing that bothered us as a whole group was the way one of the other waiters asked if we were being served decently, and in response to our NO he used the lame excuse that they only served the first floor on fridays... even though we chose to sit here despite seeing other tables attended to and weren't told anything about this policy from the beginning. But ok. If you are looking to celebrate a special day or if you are just looking forward to having a great time, look elsewhere.Thanks "Just One More", it was our first time, and our last.

Visited here on a Friday night around 830pm. Pros: Cold cheap beer (!), good location - open air, TV's, entertainment Cons: Average food, bathroom urinal is a trough, disinterested staff, above average prices I'm sure this can be good fun, just don't expect too much.

Stopped in for the beer special and ended up with dinner special of shrimp and steak but the band sold the show and we were there all evening and everyone upstairs was having a wonderful time. Dancing singing jiving Thursday nights!!

We fell into this place by accident. Had been walking/shopping in the area before the big plaza in town and needed to find a restroom. As we headed up towards the restaurant, we asked a local police officer for public facilities. He and his comrades didn't speak English, so one of them went and grabbed the hostess from Just One More. She immediately said, "Come on in and use ours"! We took her up on the offer, then heard music coming from upstairs. She mentioned the dollar beers, and we just had to go up on the rooftop patio!We enjoyed listening to Johnny Rockstar that day, along with some cold Pacifico beer for a buck! Second time we stopped in to see an NBA playoff game on one of their big TVs upstairs. Had already had dinner elsewhere (mistake), but got a tostada and enjoyed it. Tai was a lot of fun, and we ended up buying a hoodie with their logo because we were already loving this place.The third time we went was to watch another game, and then we realized it was Thursday Art Walk night. Took a beer to go and walked around all the festivities, which was so much fun with all the Mexican dancers and street artists, stores, etc. Went back to J1M for dinner, where Tai recommended the pork chop and flank steak. Both were served with potato and vegetable and we were very pleased with our meals. We enjoyed meeting Jason, Tai, Freddy, Omar the sweet little hostess, and all the other servers who made our visits there enjoyable. If we lived down there, we'd be regulars there for sure!
