El Fish Grill - San José del Cabo

Try the jumbo shrimp taco which is really a huge burrito with lots of shrimp and enough for two. Lovely al fresco sidewalk dining with street musicians nearby.

The food was good, the service was great. They had heaters on so we could sit outside comfortably. Had the tuna ceviche Sinaloa style and it was fantastic!! Have eaten ceviche a hundred thousand times but not with tuna.. I'm going to make it at home!!!

We dined here on New Year’s eve, early dinner at 7:30. We wanted something close to our casa and went with another couple. Each one of us ordered a different entrée and everyone was more than pleased. The steak was thick and juicy and cooked perfectly, the clam pasta dish had a generous amount of clams and the sauce was delicious, pasta cooked al dente. The fresh catch entrée was excellent and my husband is a pretty picky eater as he doesn’t like his food too seasoned. The wait staff was excellent. We ordered a bottle of cava that was delicious and then ordered another bottle. Don’t let the modest table and chairs and paper napkins fool you, the food in this restaurant is quality, fresh and pretty gourmet in their recipes. Will definitely be back and fortunate to have this close by within walking distance.

Americanized food Some was still excellent- such as whole sea bass. Grilled is the way to go for the whole fish.
